Barnhart Bio

In 1986, Alan Barnhart and his brother, Eric took leadership of the 17-year-old company, Barnhart, and used their unique combination of hands-on rigging experience, engineering degrees, and desire to innovate to move the company in a bold new direction. Today, Barnhart has become one of the nation’s leading providers of innovative heavy lifting and heavy transportation solutions.  

Growing from a single location in Memphis, TN, to more than 40 branches throughout the U.S., Barnhart is recognized as a leader in the rigging and heavy haul industry, earning its reputation by tackling assignments that others hesitate to pursue, and offering what has become one of the largest heavy rigging networks in the nation.

Fagioli SPA Bio

Fagioli started in 1955 and quickly became a leading company in the handling and transportation of goods throughout Italy.  With over 60 years of experience, the company provides services of heavy transportation, and lifting and applied engineering.  Fagioli has an international presence providing complete door-to-door services up to, and including, final erection of heavy, extra-heavy project components and modularized items world-wide.

Burkhalter Bio

Burkhalter Rigging, Inc., provided specialized rigging and lifting, and was a transport provider servicing the civil, power, and petrochemical industries for 46 years. Barnhart purchased the assets of Burkhalter in June 2019.

Emmert International Bio

Emmert International was founded in 1968 by Terry W. Emmert, in Portland, Oregon. The company grew and expanded from a local house moving company to the international company it is today.  They began by designing and manufacturing their own heavy-haul and rigging equipment to meet the unique needs of their customers. Emmert specializes in engineered transportation and rigging of the world’s most challenging oversized and overweight cargo. Emmert has the expertise and equipment to move anything in the world with state-of-the-art transportation solutions.
