Breakout Session: Cut to the Chase: Best Practices in Sling Protection

Sling protection is a critical consideration in all load handling activities whenever the possibility of damage to slings may occur. The presentation will include valuable information relative to direct and indirect forms of sling protection, as well as key considerations relative to damage caused by abrasion and/or cutting, appropriate mitigation methods, inspection and removal from service criteria.
